First chunk out to beta readers
Well, I’ve sent a few scenes out sort of randomly over the past several months, but in some cases those scenes have been revised or even deleted. This is the first time I’ve sent out what I expect to be … Continue reading
Getting close to the end
I just wish I could manage to spend more time writing. Things at work took a very difficult twist a month ago, and my time, effort and spirit has been focused primarily on dealing with that difficulty, not on my … Continue reading
45,000 words. Truly halfway.
Should all be downhill from here. 🙂
Post-apocalyptic baseball
Yeah, I just wrote an entire scene in my post-apocalyptic, sci-fi-horror-zombie thriller novel about a baseball game… Don’t know if it’s brilliant or stupid, but I had a great time writing it. 😉
35K and the garage is clear.
Not sure which I find a more satisfying achievement… Well, actually, the garage wins. Now I just have to finish a couple boxes in my basement, and it will be finished too. At least my portion of it. Still have … Continue reading
Progress report – 30K

Halfway to halfway
Topped 25,000 words tonight. If the final book is in the 90K to 100K range, then I’m at least halfway to halfway done. That feels like some sort of accomplishment. 🙂 Still working on two separate story lines, but events … Continue reading
22,000
Yeah, that’s not much progress in the past two weeks. Things have been hectic here, but I’ve gotten back to the keyboard the last few days, and when I am AT the keyboard, things seem to be going well. It’s … Continue reading
19,000+, That is all
Well, maybe not all. I have always found the first and last 20,000 words to be the hardest to get on paper. I should hit 20,000 in the next few days. Feels good to be writing again.
